We offer a secure Lock Box For Drop Off Of Items Like Computers, Laptops, Phones, and other Small Devices.
The Lock Box Is Available 24 Hours 7 Days A Week.
If Your Items Are Too Big To Fit In The Box They Will Have To Be Dropped Off During Normal Business Hours Monday To Friday.

How We Protect Your Data
We offer Free hard drive wiping using the DoD 5220.22-M 3 Pass data sanitization methods on all hard drives picked up or dropped off at our warehouse. All storage devices deemed to be too old or non-functional will be shredded or otherwise physically destroyed according to NIST SP 800-88 Guidelines for Media Sanitization at no cost to the customer. Hospitals, Banks, Law Firms etc have the option of HIPAA Compliant Serialized Destruction Of Drives & Tapes On Or Off-Site.
We Do All The Heavy Lifting
For Businesses, We come to your office and provide the labor to move and palletize the equipment on-site and deliver it to its warehouse if necessary (if you can palletize before pickup, that would be awesome). Additionally, Beyond Surplus will provide technicians to de-install equipment if necessary.
Onsite Packing & Removal
Pickup for Businesses With Qualifying Equipment (List Set To You When You Fill out form). Schedule A Free Pickup. We can remove, pack and transport the equipment to our facility.
Logistics & Transportation
We handle the logistics of equipment pick-up and delivery to its warehouse from your company’s location(s) with our small but mighty fleet of trucks. We also make arrangements to use our equipment or trucking company to facilitate pick-up and delivery.
Data Destruction
In-house Shredding of Hard Drives. Free DoD 5220.22-M Data Wipe &/or Physical Shredding, per customer specifications. We do not subcontract hard drive shredding or data destruction, its all done in-house at our facility.
Free Drop Offs
Free Drop Off For Residential customers & Businesses that do not qualify for a pickup can drop off any Acceptable Items at our Contactless Smyrna Recycling Facility. (NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED) Fully Staffed and Open Monday To Friday 8.30Am to 4.30PM.
Responsible Recycling
Recycling and disposal of all equipment in accordance with all Local & Federal Regulations. R2 Downstream Vendors, Zero Electronic Waste in Landfill. You will not see your equipment on a burn pile on the 6 o’clock news in a foreign country.

Free Drop Off Receipt / Certificate of Recycling and Data Destruction A Contractual Written Guarantee that your Equipment will be Recycled Responsibly & Your Data Will Be Destroyed Beyond Recovery. Also known as a COD (Certificate Of Destruction) For Transfer Of Liability.

There are three ways you can get rid of your electronic waste:
- Pick-Up: Our crew can come to your property to de-install and take your items from your site to our facility.
- Drop-Off: You can schedule a drop-off of your items at our facility in Smyrna Cobb County. Our address is 1835 S Cobb Industrial Blvd SE #105, Smyrna, GA 30082.
- Mail-In: We accept select computer parts and electronic items for mail-in. We’ll send a shipping label to your location so you can send it back along with your e-waste to our facility.
What Happens To All Your Laptops?
Beyond Surplus is registered with the state of Georgia as a Computer Recycler; we adhere to a strict zero-landfill policy for all electronic waste and do not export hazardous materials to other countries.
Data Destruction Service
At our warehouse, we thoroughly inspect every item and protect your Data by removing Asset Tags and "sanitizing" each device. During this initial Inspection stage, all Hard Drives and storage media are DOD Wiped or Shredded (per your requirements). All Data Destruction is handled in-house at our facility.
Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
After Data Destruction and Sanitization, we test all technology equipment for re-marketing. Reduction and Reuse is the best option to the challenge of e-waste per EPA guidelines. We partner with Charitable organizations to provide computers, laptops and monitors, making them available to those who otherwise could not afford them.
Dismantling & Recycling
Equipment failing to meet Reuse standards, unrepairable, old, obsolete or not contractually permitted to be remarketed will be Recycled & destroyed by demanufacture and/or physical shredding. Virtually every component of computer equipment is broken down and Recycled. We demanufacture scrap computer equipment into it’s base components.
Contactless Drop Off Recycling Center
It seems like new electronic gadgets are constantly hitting the market. Technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, from smartphones to tablets to laptops and gaming consoles. However, with this rapid advancement comes a growing concern for what happens to our old and outdated devices.
Beyond Surplus Operates A Drop Off Center Open To Businesses & The General Public. Anyone, regardless of location, can drop off accepted items Monday To Friday.
How Do Drop-Offs Work?
To request/use the NO-CONTACT DROP-OFF SERVICE, please follow the below steps:
- Register For Drop Off, Form Above or Call. This helps Avoid Surprises,
- Just drive through the gate on the left side (Directions Below)
- We have empty bins outside the recycling center, in front of the garage door.
- Simply drop off Accepted Recyclable Electronic Equipment into designated bin/s.
- You must be prepared to unload the equipment yourself; our employees cannot help.
- One customer at a time; if another customer is dropping off, please stay in your vehicle until they have left, and maintain 12ft or more distance.
- Our Employees will maintain a safe distance and direct as needed.

- Our employees will supervise from a safe distance to prevent the illegal dumping of items.
